Client Portals

The Client Portal provides clients with secure access to their information, documents, invoices, and communications.

Clients can view appointments, complete paperwork, make payments, and communicate with their providers. While the portal looks similar to a doula's profile, it shares less information.

Understanding these limitations will help you set clear expectations around communication, documentation, and privacy between you and your client.

The Client Portal is the same application that you log into, just with a different view.

  • If you're a provider who also identifies as a client, you can switch back and forth between Client and Doula views.

What Clients Can See in Their Portal

Clients have access to a simplified version of the Doulado portal, focused on communication, paperwork, and billing.

Clients can:

  • View and edit their personal profile information (name, address, email, phone #, etc)
  • See outstanding documents, balances, and files on their dashboard
  • Access shared files and completed documents
  • Complete requested paperwork
  • View and pay invoices (if Stripe is connected)
  • Review payment history and manage payment methods
  • Send and receive messages
  • View and book appointments (if enabled)

Clients never see anything labeled as a “Note,” including client journey notes or visit notes.
