Network Journeys
The "Network" section is a space, separate from your main client list, to store information and create journeys for people that are not formal clients. A network journey is similar to a client journey where you can take notes, send paperwork, share resources, upload files and send invoices! You can also have separate Network lead forms that will create a new network journey when they are submitted. Your network journeys could include people such as:
- Doulas looking to join your agency
- Doulas contracted within your agency
- Local doulas you work with occasionally
- Doulas joining your mentor program
- Vendors you need to bill for services

The roles (or labels) for network journeys can be edited in your Templates>Labels section, by toggling to the Network tab at the top next to Client. Those labels can be added to a Network journey, and are needed in a Network lead form to label that journey.
Adding a Network journey for a doula that you work with, whether as a consistent backup or a doula in your agency, is completely separate from adding them to your Doulado "team" or sharing client information with them! It is way to have peer to peer paperwork signed, keep track of certifications, message fellow doulas in Doulado (if not a part of a team), or bill them for any fees. A great example of using a Network journey is to have a backup doula sign a backup contract for you, or to use a network lead form to gather applicants to join your doula agency!

Contributors and owners can view all team network journeys, just like clients. Participants, however, can only see the network journeys they are assigned to, also like clients.
Network journeys do not have access to a portal. If a doula also uses Doulado and you would like them to view their network profile, you can grant access by “sharing the profile” with them. If they are a participant on the team, they must be assigned to the profile in order to view it.
Once they log in, they can access the network journey either through the team it belongs to or through their personal Clients tab (if they are not part of that team). Without being assigned, they will not be able to view notes, upload files, or access any checklists they are part of.
When they are assigned to their network profile, it will appear in their network list, whether they are viewing it from a team workspace or their individual (personal clients) tab.
Sharing a network journey with a doula does not add them to your team. If you do want to move forward with adding that doula to your Team within Doulado, you can invite them in "manage team settings" separately. Alternatively, if they are already a team member, you can add a network profile for them from the "manage team settings".
If you are looking to share a client's profile with another doula, please see this article on sharing client profiles. If you are a part of a team, and want to assign a team member to a client profile, check out this article!
