Does a client need to use the portal?
In short, no. The client portal allows clients a centralized place to log in and see their documents, invoices, payments, messages and files or resources that have been shared as part of their care. It is convenient and most clients would probably like the option. However, whether you invite a client to the portal or not is up to you and can depend on several factors.
Clients can access the paperwork you send them, reply to messages, view files, pay invoices and everything else from emails they get from the platform. They receive an email when:
- A document/form is sent
- A file or resource is shared
- A message is sent
- An invoice is ready to be paid
- A payment has been made
- An appointment is scheduled
