Verifying Eligibility

Overview

Eligibility Verification allows providers to confirm a client's insurance coverage status by checking with insurance payers. This validates whether:

  • The insurance plan is active
  • Coverage dates are valid
  • Plan and group numbers match (if configured)

Verifications can be performed manually or through automated real-time checks via the clearinghouse. This helps prevent claim denials and ensures accurate billing.
