Logging In

Overview

Logging in is the manual process of authentication. The other method of authentication is by an emailed magic link, which are mainly sent to clients but can also occur when onboarding.

Note: A client first needs to create their account by being invited to their portal by the doula.

After their account is created the email link they were invited by, then they can follow the steps below to login.

Process

There are multiple ways to log in to your account upon creation.

Method 1: Entering Credentials

  1. Go to doulado.co.
  2. Click Login at the top of the page.

Note: if you are on mobile or a tablet, you may have a menu to open in the upper left.

  1. On the login screen, enter the Email and Password associated with the platform account, then click Login.

  2. If you need to verify your account, you will be redirected to a window asking for the verification code sent to your registered email address.

    If you are not receiving these code emails, please reach out to support@doulado.co to check your email address.

    If your email address is invalid or email notifications have bounced in the past, we may need to reactivate your email address in the system in order for you to receive notifications!

  3. Enter the code and click Verify Code.

After a certain timeframe, when you log in to your Doulado account, it will have you verify with an extra step and receive a code in your email.

This secure measure will remain in effect for 30 days before you will have to verify again.

Method 2: Multi-Factor Authentication

For security purposes, Two-Factor Authentication is enforced every 30 days.

  • When it’s enforced, a random code is sent to the preferred method, in which case it is required to be entered correctly to proceed.

  • The default method is through Email, but can be changed while logging in, and later as well from the personal profile.

Method 3: Password Reset

If the password is forgotten, it can be reset by following the steps below:

  1. Tap on Forgot Password on the login screen.

  2. Enter your registered email address to receive the code.

  3. Verify ownership of the email address by entering the code received.

  4. Enter and confirm a new password.
