Blocking Period Effects
Busy periods appear differently in the calendar view depending on their configuration:

|
Strike Pattern |
Solid Gray Background |
Clear (Visible) |
| Indicates partial day blocks with specific time ranges | Represents full day blocks (all-day unavailability) | Available for the day (no busy period) |
Team owners can see other members busy periods when viewing their calendar.

Scheduling Conflicts
If an event is created, moved, or duplicated during a busy period, Doulado will display a confirmation prompt instead of completely blocking the action.

When Team Owners are scheduling on behalf of another team member, the system checks against that member’s busy periods and adjusts the warning message accordingly.

Booking Page Exclusions
When the Also Apply to Booking Pages option is enabled, busy periods automatically block those times from appearing as available on your Booking Pages.

Any appointment times that overlap with a busy period are removed from the available booking options, helping ensure clients can only book during your available hours.
