Types of Documents

Doulado offers several types of paperwork templates, allowing you to choose the format that best fits your workflow and the information you need to collect from clients.

Uploaded PDFs

If you already have a document created in another program such as Google Docs, Microsoft Word, or Canva, you can upload it as a PDF.

After uploading, you can place fillable fields anywhere on the document, allowing clients to enter information, provide signatures, or complete required sections directly within the PDF.

Created PDFs

You can also create PDF documents directly within Doulado using the built-in document editor. The document pages are automatically converted into a PDF when saved.

Like uploaded PDFs, they can collect information and signatures from clients. However, field placement is determined by the document layout and cannot be freely dragged around the page.

Forms

Forms are designed for structured data collection and provide a more interactive experience for clients.

Instead of filling out a PDF, clients complete questions through a web-based form. Forms can be organized into sections, and questions can be easily reordered as needed.

Responses are presented in a clean, mobile-friendly layout that guides clients through the form from top to bottom.
