Merge Client Journeys

Occasionally, you may end up with duplicate client journeys for the same person in your client list. Doulado makes it easy to merge these into one streamlined journey.

When Should You Merge Client Journeys?

You may want to merge profiles if:

  • A client was accidentally added twice
  • A lead form created a second journey for an existing client
  • You have separate journeys that should be combined into one

Merging helps keep all client information, documents, and activity in one place.

How to Merge Client Profiles

  1. Go to the client journey you want to remove (This is the duplicate journey you no longer need)
  2. Locate the Merge button under Quick Stats

  1. Click Merge
  2. In the merge settings, you can:
    • Select the journey you want to merge into (the one you want to keep)
    • Choose whether to delete the the duplicated journey after merging
    • Select which client data you want to carry over

  1. Click save to confirm the merge

What Happens After a Merge?

  • Selected data from the duplicate journey is moved into the primary journey
  • You can choose whether the original journey is deleted (or you can manually delete after merging)
  • The client will have one unified journey moving forward

Things to Keep in Mind

  • You will only be able to merge journeys with the same primary client name
  • Saving a "Client ID" for each client can help different journeys with the same name
  • Merging journeys is not reversible,=
