👀 Sneak Peek: Exciting Updates Coming Soon to Doulado!

Updated: March 20th, 2026

At Doulado, we’re always working behind the scenes to make your experience smoother, smarter, and more powerful. And we’re excited to give our dedicated community a first look at some of the improvements that are just around the corner!

We’ve been busy improving Doulado to make client tools, billing, and workflows easier and more accessible. These updates help you spend less time on logistics and more time supporting families.

Heads up: These changes haven’t been released just yet, but they’re scheduled to go live with our next update very soon!

Here’s a preview of what’s coming soon:

#1 Documents & Forms

  • Introducing Flow Documents: Our new document type, Flow Documents, offers a more modern, mobile-friendly way to send documents. Clients move through sections step by step in a clear, guided flow, making forms easier to complete, especially on mobile.
  • Lead Forms → Now Downloadable as PDF: Lead form submissions can now be downloaded as PDFs, ensuring all responses are preserved in full. This makes it easier to review, share, and store client information.

#2 Claims & Insurance

  • More Complete Insurance Collection: When the Insurance field is marked as required, all visible fields must now be completed before submission, helping ensure more accurate intake data.
  • Eligibility Results → Now in PDF Format: Eligibility check results can now be viewed and downloaded as easy-to-read PDFs, providing a clearer, more user-friendly summary of coverage details.
  • Procedure Codes in Eligibility Checks: You can now include procedure codes when running eligibility checks, allowing for more detailed benefit information like co-pays, deductibles, and service coverage.

#3 Admin Updates

  • Smarter Event Labels: Event reminders now automatically adjust wording (client(s), provider(s)) based on who is included, keeping communication clear and consistent.
  • Client Email Opt-Out: Clients can now opt out of email notifications directly from Doulado, giving them more control over how they receive communication.

#4 Team Capabilities

  • Manage Inactive Teams: Team owners can now access and manage settings for inactive teams, including updating members, permissions, or deleting the team.
  • Convert Personal Clients into a Team: Easily transition from a solo practice to a team by converting your existing clients into a team structure, no need to start over.

Stay tuned for the full rollout and get ready to explore these new features in action!
