At Doulado, we’re always working behind the scenes to make your experience smoother, smarter, and more powerful. And we’re excited to give our dedicated community a first look at some of the improvements that are just around the corner!

We’re excited to share the latest features and improvements in Doulado! From enhanced messaging to smarter claim and appointment management, these updates make your experience smoother, faster, and more intuitive.

Heads up: These changes haven’t been released just yet, but they’re scheduled to go live with our next update at the end of September!

Here’s a preview of what’s coming soon:

Notable Changes

  • Multiple Clients on Events: Add more than one client to a single event for group appointments, classes, or shared visits. Each client sees only their own details.
  • Updated Services: Service quantities now update automatically when a previously paid invoice is edited.
  • Client Status Filter on Insurance: Filter clients by status for easier searches.
  • Appointment Buffer Time: New rules prevent scheduling conflicts while maintaining flexibility.

Claims & Remittances

  • Export All Claims: Export all claims to CSV, not just the first page.
  • Copy From in Claims: Quickly copy billing details from previous claims.
  • Manual Claim Status: Update claim statuses manually with multiple options.
  • More Detailed Remittances & Notifications: Remittance PDFs now include more info, and you’ll get email alerts for new remittances.
  • Funds Deposit Limits: Solo accounts: $100 max; team accounts: $100 + $10 per member.

Messaging Improvements

  • Collapse the message input box to view more of a conversation.
  • Mark messages as unread if you can’t reply immediately.
  • Add linked recipients or multiple clients to messages for better communication.

Notifications & Email Updates

  • Email notifications now only go to active doulas or team owners.
  • Sender emails updated to no-reply@doulado.co, with customizable sender names and reply-to addresses.

Mobile & Documents

  • Mobile Enhancements: Easier navigation, better messaging, improved filters, and revamped paperwork editor for the mobile view of Doulado!
  • Document Labels & Error Messages: Organize templates with labels and automatically scroll to missing required fields when submitting forms.
