Customizing Email Notifications

You can customize most of the email notifications that go out to clients when you send paperwork or an invoice, share a resource, or a lead form is completed.

Customizing Notification Templates

In Templates > Notifications, expand the relevant notification category, then click on the relevant notification type.

Available Customization Options

Edit the font, change the colors, upload images or add bullets, etc.

Edit the content of the email notification

Edit your subject and preview

Insert a field variable to dynamically populate data specific to the client, notification type, document, etc.

4. Once you have completed your edits, Save & Close
5. You can send a test of the email by clicking the button below

5. The "test" email will populate with this basic client information to give you an idea of the data included. You can leave this or change any information, and Send Test

6. You will receive a test email to the email address associated with your Doulado account within a few minutes, so you can see an example of what your email notification will look like for a client!

7. You can view the history of the each notification type by clicking on the history button to the right of the template

You can also view a full history of all email notifications that have been sent to clients from your business for full transparency in what you are clients are receiving. You can open each message to view the email, and if it was delivered and opened!

Once a template has been edited, you will see a revert icon that will bring back the default Doulado message if you want to restart. This give you flexibility to play around with the templates, and send a test message and have the option to revert back to the original message template.
