Invoice Visibility

There is now a visibility setting to invoices, like files and documents have, to allow others to see it if you'd like. When creating a new invoice, or updating a sent invoice, you can adjust the visibility at the bottom of the invoice (below sending options).


Leaving the box checked (default) will keep the same visibility as before, where only the doula sending the invoice (and team owners, if part of a team) will be able to see the invoice. If you uncheck the box, anyone able to see/assigned to that client profile, will be able to see that invoice. This will give more customizations to varying groups depending on if all providers assigned to that client need to see billing, or only the team owners sending it should see the invoice.


Only the doula creating the invoice has the ability to edit that invoice, whether to change installments, date or visibility. If the visibility is unchecked, and other team members have access to that invoice, they will only be able to view it is a PDF version. Below is what a member on a team would see as their visibility option.

If you are on a solo account, and you leave the box checked, any other doulas you share the profile with will not be able to see the invoice. Unchecking the box, will allow other assigned providers to view this invoice, and they will only be able to view the invoice as a PDF.

For previously created invoices, that have not been fully paid, the sender of the invoice can go back in and edit the visibility at the bottom, and select update invoice. If invoices are previously created, and fully paid, and you need to change the visibility, please reach out to support@doulado.co, and we can possibly update all previously paid invoice visibility from the backend.
