Creating & Adding Note Templates to Invoices

You can create note templates for your invoices, so that you can easily add the same note to each invoice! These can be added or edited while creating an invoice.

Creating a Template

  1. When you are in the new invoice screen
  2. Select the magnifying glass (when highlighted "Use Template" will show)

  1. From the invoice notes template you can choose +New Template
  2. When you are in the Add a New Template screen enter the following information:
    1. Name (of the template)
    2. Sharing options (if you have a team)
    3. Text- the message you want to show on the invoice
  3. Click save to save the template for use in the future


Adding a Template

Use the following process to add a note from a template to an invoice

  1. Follow step 1 and 2 above
  2. Select a note template from the list

  1. Once you select the note, it will be added to the invoice. You can then edit that note if you need to within the invoice box. Once you click create invoice, the note will appear at the bottom of the invoice!
