At Doulado, we’re always listening to our users and working hard to improve your experience. Thanks to your valuable feedback, we’ve added a range of new features that make using Doulado easier, more helpful, and more intuitive than ever before. Whether you're a long-time user or just getting started, these updates are designed to help you get the most out of the platform.
In this article, we’ll walk you through all the exciting new features and improvements we’ve made, so you can start enjoying them right away.
#1 On-Call Windows
- Windows show within Main Calendar: As requested, we have added the on call windows to show within your main calendar, as well as on the separate "On-Call" calendar as well. If you are a solo provider, all clients with active due dates should show in your calendar. If you are on a team, all clients assigned to your should should in your calendar.
- Ability to Edit: On call windows can be edited for everyone (all providers assigned to that client), or just for yourself, if your on-call window is different than others for that client. You can choose multiple date ranges if your on call time is broken up throughout the period.
- Remove Window: If your client has a due date entered, but you are not on call for them, you can remove the on-call window entirely if that does not apply to this client.
- Description for Change: The system will automatically set your on-call time from 38-42 weeks gestation based on the due date entered. If you need to change that on-call window for yourself, or everyone, you can add a description so that the reason can be noted (e.g. Induction scheduled, Due Date adjusted, etc.)
#2 Mobile Document View
- Mobile Friendly Documents: We have adjusted the view for clients signing documents from their mobile devices. The document can be easily zoomed in and out in order to view all necessary fields they need to fill out, and be able to zoom in to read it better.
#3 Paperwork Updates
- Form Editing: We adjusted an issue that was causing questions within forms to move around when editing the template. When lines are dragged and dropped to rearrange, it should no longer rearrange other questions.
- Revise Completed Paperwork: You can now edit completed paperwork after a client has completed either a document or form within Doulado. You can edit form fields that you filled out, or form fields that are empty. Form fields that the client are not editable. You can click on the pencil icon on the right side of the document to bring back into draft mode to revise.
- Revise Sent Paperwork: You can also revise a document or form in "sent" status before the client fills it out. If you do that, you have the ability to fill in any fields as it has not been completed by the client yet. If the "allow customizations before sending" option is on, you can edit parts of the document as well.
- Document PDF: With our last update, we had removed the ability to view a document template as a PDF to download or print. We added that feature back into the document view. When you are in your template bank, you can click on the 3 small dots in the bottom right corner of the document. Then choose "View PDF", and you will have the ability to see the document (without the fillable fields showing) so that you can download or print for offline access.
#4 Invoice Overpayment
- Allow for Overpayment: If a client pays more than the balance due, it will not negatively affect the open balance, but will be added to the total payments. The invoice will now show the payment, and add a line for "overpayment" if the payment is larger than the total balance.
#5 Lead Form Confirmation
- Email Notification Upon Form Completion: Doulado will now send an email notification to a potential client when the lead form is completed to let them know a provider will be reaching out soon. The "Form Submitted" page appears after the form has been completed on the webpage. The email notification below is what is now sent after that.
- Doulado Connection: This allows the connection of Doulado to the lead form they submitted so they are aware of the platform. Depending on how you reach out to the potential client, they may get an email notification about a message from their provider in Doulado, or an invite to the portal and will understand the connection better.
We hope these are helpful, and are grateful for our growing doula community and their support of Doulado! We always appreciate the feedback, and have some exciting new things in the works.
